Case 1: hair cut
i went to cut my hair the other day @ QB, wow a request to the auntie to cut without the shaver was a nightmare, she insisted that this cannot be done! i believed her and asked her to proceed, through cutting halfway, she asked "really meh? got ppl cut for u with out the shaver?"

I replied "yes, and its also another branch of QB"

She looks and say "i still dun believe, how can use scissors and still cut in time?"

WHA, i was being "grilled" on the hot seat..politely i juz gave a silly smile..If she dun believe, why bothering asking...if she wants to ask, probably shld say it more politely..$10 is too cheap to deserve a gd service MEH??

Case 2: nugeno men

i was trying to get a nugeno men face lifting cream. But the way the sales person attending to me was rude loh, in the end, i walked away PUI

me: how much is this? got 15% discount?
her: no, this is already very cheap 38.40 the deep cleanser is free so no discount, if you wan, i can get the cream itself without the deep cleanser, then there is 15% discount. u wan? (stern tone)
me: ok, nvm thanks i'll think abt it (walking away)
her: 30 + dollars so cheap still need to thnk ah?
me: STUN!! DUH! <what makes u think that 30+ dollars to me is cheap>

as a sales person, cant she offer a better smile? Is it becos i'm too friendly? A**H***.. next time if i see her, better be rude a bit.

why do this ppl like to win an argument to make their point? its silly..it puts consumers totally off loh..

June PC Show
i went to the PC show @ Suntec on fri! wha packed like sardine. so many cars on the road, ppl streaming in and out of the PC show hall, it was total MADNESS

I did not buy anything in the end, except for signing up a POEMS acct..haha i thot there was a free gift, but the sales person din hand anything to me..

but sth interesting happen between our conversation

Me: as i approach the booth, i asked, - is it free to sign up as a member?
sales person (SP) - yes, but i think you are not of age yet
me: puzzled and pondering : why? whats the age?
SP: you have to be above 21 to register for an acct
me: OMG, err miss, im 26 fyi.. sth be ok
SP:really? i dun believe unless you show me ur ic, den i'll pass you the form
me: hands my ic for her to see
sp: sure! i'll get you the form, my son is 22 and he looks older than you! young man!

wow!!i still look below 21?? Nice =)

anyway, i proceed to fill up my particulars and hope i can start my trading acct soon..

this lady is still quite courteous, but quite poor thing, she was left alone to tend the booth..

why do singaporeans like to go to PC shows? its furni..considering i also go there without buying anything nyuk nyuk

a lot of ppl juz go there and occupy space, otherwise buy thumbdrives and memory cards. .

Nice service! me and my darling bought a lot of goods from there! sad to say that the perfume i wanted is sold out.. nvm, but there was this auntie super friendly trying to promote eversoft products to me and my darling..haha her friendliness won us over and we bought > $25 worth.

the previous basket of clean and clear, loreal etc instantly transform to eversoft haha..oops =)

its a new beginning

start fresh and start new!

its been some time since i have updates on this webbie.. i guess it muz be the bleach videos and naruto videos that i have been catching and the work that was bestowed upon me that deterred me away from this page =)

2007 marks a new beginning for me as i have a lot of things on hand to do, career, friends, family, bla bla.. of cos new beginning is not plain sailing, there are always hiccups along the way and i hope i can manage these to the minimum...

life in general now -- gd -> no more oracle support =), no more 24x7, no more calls!
i tried to put on my oracle thinking cap but i realise that it was a nightmare, so i shall refrain from it ever...

went to IT show today@ suntec, lots of ppl as usual, small island having so many ppl.. where are we gg to live next time? transport system is still improving and im hoping for circle line to come out fast.. ppl mountain ppl sea.. is a word i shall use to describe the situation.

been trying to install fedora core 4 as well into my PC..sian still in the midst of trying to figure out the bootloader stuff PUI waste time...sian...oh well..

went with darling to HSBC TreeTop walk @ mac. res... super hot and walked for about 3 hours... phew finally able to complete in..@ least before sunset LOL, and met jarvis + shumin on our way out..Small world =) if u ppl like to canoe there, there's canoe rental there as well..who knows we may go and canoe some time

Long time no see!!

its a looooooooong time since my last update...

Why? MY PC crashed!!! got to do recovery sian man...formatted my PC with winxp sp2 and then i still have the same problem..I thought it was the hard disk that was having problem and got another one @ $90 a samsung 80GB hdd... piang, i tried to install the OS on this new hdd but unfortunately still cannot...My brother is gg crazy becos he cannot access Maplestory and the event is ending..

Hence, in the end we brought the thing to sim lim on cab..piang $ spent on gg there and back was not cheap..and the guy cannot solve our error, juz say that there is nth wrong with the hdd and if we were to let him diagnose, we have to pay $40 for his services..(i bet the tools he used are the tools that i have used before to determine if there were any hardware error) no point spent this foolish amt of money on this..Hence, back to the old drawing board..

I managed to find a winxp without sp2 and installed it!! SUCCESS!!! whahah im so happy so shiok!!finally it can work...but now i have a spare hdd (sian)... might as well...now i have a total of 120GB loh.. so i planned to install fedora core 4 into the 40GB hdd haha dual booting hehe and learn how to use linux..
